Enrollment

Students who do not reside within the Woodland Hills Elementary Charter boundaries must apply to the charter lottery by visiting the LAUSD Unified Enrollment site at APPLY.LAUSD.NET.  The 6 week window to apply opens in October and closes in mid-November of each year.   You may find more information under our "Charter Info" tab at the top of our main web page and selecting "Charter Lottery Preference and Procedures."  A random lottery drawing is held in February of each year if we receive more applications than space available.  The lottery will create a waitlist and does not guarantee placement.

The LAUSD Enrollment Portal is available for school registration, for NEW students entering TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade. This is available ONLY for resident students to apply to their home school. To find out if WHECES is your home school, please go to: https://rsi.lausd.net/ResidentSchoolIdentifier/.   If we are your home school, please complete the ONLINE Pre-enrollment application when it is available for the 2024-2025 school year (usually in March), and upload supporting documentation at https://enroll.lausd.net/.  Additional enrollment forms can be collected in our main office. We look forward to seeing you soon!
