About Us

Woodland Hills Elementary School is a school where the children come first. All stakeholders are devoted to inspire and prepare students to become confident, independent learners who achieve at their highest academic levels, while developing personal values that contribute to their success. These values include nurturing a love of learning, stimulating creativity, cultivating physical, social and emotional health, and developing respect, integrity, empathy, and tolerance for others. Please register for one of our school tours by clicking on the headline. Woodland Hills Elementary Charter Tours begin promptly at 9:00 am and last approximately one hour (Adults Only Please). We ask that you please arrive early to find parking. We look forward to seeing you!
Lottery

2026-2027 LAUSD Choices Charter Lottery News

Our 2026-2027 LAUSD Choices Lottery Drawing will be held on Friday, February 6th at 10:00a.m. in person and via Zoom (Meeting ID: 987 186 0203. No passcode is required.) The random lottery drawing will create a waitlist and does not guarantee enrollment. The waitlist will be posted on our website Tuesday, February 10th. Please note that we will not post names, only application confirmation numbers.

The late window for non-resident students will open on February 2nd, 2026. Late applicants will not be included in the lottery drawing, but will be added to the bottom of the waitlist in the order received.

Selected and Waitlisted students will be notified via email in mid-March.

Woodland Hills Elementary School fosters the development of creative thinking, rigorous problem solving, respect for individual differences, and high ethical standards. Our arts integration instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness. We prepare our students to be fully participating, international-minded citizens and leaders with twenty-first-century skills.
