Enrollment

Students who do not reside within the Woodland Hills Elementary Charter boundaries must apply to the charter lottery by visiting the LAUSD Unified Enrollment site at APPLY.LAUSD.NET.  The 6 week window to apply opens in October and closes in mid-November of each year.   You may find more information under our "Charter Info" tab at the top of our main web page and selecting "Charter Lottery Preference and Procedures."  A random lottery drawing is held in February of each year if we receive more applications than space available.  The lottery will create a waitlist and does not guarantee placement.

The LAUSD Enrollment Portal will be available in February for school registration, for NEW students entering TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade. This is available ONLY for resident students to apply to their home school. To find out if WHECES is your home school, please go to: https://rsi.lausd.net/ResidentSchoolIdentifier/.   If we are your home school, please complete the ONLINE Pre-enrollment application when it is available for the 2023-2024 school year, and upload supporting documentation at https://enroll.lausd.net/.  PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FOR THIS CURRENT 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR FALL. You MUST also complete the attached packet located at the bottom of this page, and call our office at (818) 347-9220 to make an appointment once you are ready to drop it off.  We ask that you carefully read the first page with the instructions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
