Enrollment for Resident Boundary Students will start for prospective students who reside within the attendance boundaries of WHECES (“resident students”). They shall have first admission preference and thus are deemed exempt from the lottery. If you live within the WHECES boundaries, you can pick up your enrollment packet beginning January 13, 2020. Please bring your Identification/Drivers License AND current utility bill (gas/electric) with you. Once your enrollment packet is complete you can bring in the COMPLETED (including all immunizations) enrollment paperwork on the following Saturdays: 1st - 5th grades April 18th, 2020 from 7:30am-12:30pm TK-Kinder May 16th, 2020 from 7:30am-2:30pm Please note that we will NOT accept incomplete applications. This includes immunization doses. NO EXCEPTIONS. NEW LOTTERY APPLICATION WINDOW 2020-2021 Lottery Application for Non-Resident Boundary Students As an Affiliated Charter, Woodland Hills Elementary CES follows LAUSD’s Unified Enrollment process and deadlines for non- resident applicants. If there is more interest than the number of spaces available, a random public lottery will be conducted for non-resident boundary students as described below. Woodland Hills Elementary CES non-resident lottery applications will be made available each year through the On-Time LAUSD Unified Enrollment process (Choices Brochure & Application and GoTo.Lausd.Net). The six- week On-Time application window for the 2020-2021 school year is October 1-November 15, 2019. The lottery drawing will be held on February 21, 2020 @ 8:30 a.m. at Woodland Hills Elementary CES. Families will be able to observe the lottery in person, but do not need to be present to be placed on the wait list. We will not be drawing student names, we will be drawing your online Application ID number. This is a 7 digit number assigned to you by the district when you completed the online application. Please be advised that our school staff will not give out lottery information via phone or in person. The district will notify you of your wait list number via email towards the end of March. Thank you for your patience and understanding. LATE APPLICATION WINDOW - Opens February 3, 2020. Late applicants will not be a part of the drawing, but will be placed at the bottom of the wait list in the order received.
