Woodland Hills Elementary School is a school where the children come first. All stakeholders are devoted to inspire and prepare students to become confident, independent learners who achieve at their highest academic levels, while developing personal values that contribute to their success. These values include nurturing a love of learning, stimulating creativity, cultivating physical, social and emotional health, and developing respect, integrity, empathy, and tolerance for others. 2024-2025 Enrollment for Resident Students Starts in March 2024

The online pre-enrollment portal for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. Families must complete the online pre-enrollment application at enroll.lausd.net or by clicking on the "Enroll" button on the top-right corner of this page and upload the following:
1) Child's birth certificate
2) ** Child's up-to-date immunization record including doses (5 DTAP, 4 Polio, 3 HEP B, 2 MMR & 2 Varicella) ** We cannot process the application if there is a missing dose
3) Parent ID or Driver's license
4) Proof of address (recent gas/electric bill, mortgage statement, lease agreement)
5) Previous school's most recent report card and/or IEP, if applicable.

Our office staff will then contact you via email with next steps.

2024-2025 Lottery Waitlist Results

Please click on the headline for our lottery results. Official Selection and Waitlist notices will be emailed to families the week of March 11th. Parents will have until April 12th to Accept or Decline. If your child is Selected and you have Accepted, you must then complete an online pre-enrollment application in mid-March. You can click on the Enroll button on the top-right of our web page or visit enroll.lausd.net to enroll and upload all required documents in mid-March.

Transportation for Non-Resident Students

Los Angeles Unified is now offering bus transportation to all students. To request a school bus availability check for your student, please click on the headline.

If transportation can be provided, priority will be given to students who reside in areas where buses are currently available. Students will be picked up at a nearby corner or school site. If you have questions, please contact the Transportation Services Division at (213) 580-2920, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Our Mission

Woodland Hills Elementary School fosters the development of creative thinking, rigorous problem solving, respect for individual differences, and high ethical standards. Our arts integration instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness. We prepare our students to be fully participating, international-minded citizens and leaders with twenty-first-century skills.
